I absolutely loved hanging out with this lovey lady for her headshot session last month. It can be challenging finding the right locations It can be challenging finding the right locations for your brand shoot. A lot of my clients work at home, but their home working space doesn’t always fit the images and content they would like to create. Mini shoots are a great because the location is sorted by me, to ensure a mixture of spaces that will work for relaxed, lifestyle brand images. We have had lots of fun in this space today- the owner has gorgeous taste and her home is beautiful! I could have quite easily curled up on that sofa with a book in front of that stunning window! How do you feel about putting yourself out there o How do you feel about putting yourself out there on your socials and website? I don’t like being in front of the camera. Like most women I meet, I have hang ups about my appearance. I suffer from imposter syndrome and often start a post and then decide not to publish it. I have to remind myself of what I tell other people- -Probably only a small amount of people are actually even seeing your post! -people really don’t think about you as much as you imagine they do. -others don’t see the ‘flaws’ we see in ourselves. -we are our own worst critic. If people are not interested they will just scroll on by! By being authentic and putting yourself out there, you will start to connect with the right people. The people you love working with. Let’s talk about the laughter.. It can’t be forc Let’s talk about the laughter.. It can’t be forced, it can’t be posed. But in every gallery these shots are always my favourite. Because in between feeling awkward or conscious of the camera, there are always these magic moments where your personality jumps out. I’m a giggler, I love a chat and my shoots are fluid, sometimes spontaneous and there is lots of movement. If we are indoors I love to put music on too- all of this helps you to relax, feel at ease and enjoy the experience.
